The Third Mind
*The Third Mind has just released its 3rd studio record, entitled “Right Now!” What started as a project of exploration to see if we could conjure a bit of chemistry, and get some songs recorded 5 years ago, has now become a band with 4 releases under its belt and an upcoming tour in the Northeast, Great Lakes, and Midwest, USA. We’re excited to share the music outside of our beloved west coast and hope that the shows will turn a few heads, edify some hearts, and leave a lasting impression.

Today marks the release of an album to which I am immensely proud to have contributed Hammond B3 organ and piano. The Third Mind’s third studio album (and fourth release), “Right Now!,” is a soulful, experimental, haunting, and incendiary collection of psychedelic, deep reimagining of songs by the likes of Fred Neil, The Youngbloods, Otis Rush, Richard and Mimi Farina, and Pharoah Sanders. There’s also a beautiful original song written by the hearts and souls of our group, Dave Alvin and Jesse Solomon Sykes.
