Halls of the Machine has been working hard to produce several new projects since the release of “All Tribal Dignitaries.” Starting with the Double-Disc – Vinyl Debut, and Re-Release of their first album “Atmospheres for Lovers and Sleepers.” Celebrating 25 Years of HOTM – Featuring 2 New Bonus Tracks! *Johnny and Santo’s 1959 smash, Sleep Walk, and Perpetual Moment by our one and only Van Eric Martin.

We teamed up with All-In-One Merchandise distributor, BANDWEAR, in Dallas Texas to help us facilitate our new double-disc vinyl of Atmospheres for Lovers and Sleepers – autographed and numbered, at $50 while supplies last.

A bit of backstory:
*Atmospheres for Lovers and Sleepers was originally written and recorded in Dallas and Fort Worth, TX. Recorded by Ray Sanchiz, Martin Baird, Van Eric Martin, and HOTM. Produced and Mixed by Van Eric Martin and HOTM. Mastered by Howie Weinberg.
“I had just started touring with Richard Thompson, June of ‘99, and most of “Atmospheres…” had already been completed save a few minor mix and mastering details. I hadn’t really had a chance to listen to the record in full so every night on the overnight rides across the country, I’d listen to Atmospheres for Lovers and Sleepers before going to sleep. What started as listening with scrutiny to see how the music sounded on different formats, or to find things we might want to adjust, soon became a necessary routine to calm my senses and escape into the music. Van Eric worked his backside off producing this record, and Mike and I fell asleep on the couch in the studio while listening to playbacks. What can I say… We created a lot of good memories in that short period of time and it remains one of my favorite listening experiences to this day.”

2024 was a busy year touring with Better Than Ezra, Richard Thompson, The Third Min, and Slash’s Blues Ball. During that time Halls Of The Machine worked on a new album called Blue Sparkle Nights, currently scheduled for a release in 2025.
On April 18th HOTM will open for legendary greats TEN HANDS at The Kessler Theater / Kessler X+ in Oak Cliff (Dallas), TX. The show will feature Graff, Jerome, and Daane rendering compositions from the new vinyl album.

We look forward to playing together again will be set up for signing and catching up with everyone before and and after the show.

Our long-time collaborator, video director, and lighting designer, Steven Gaddis, is in high demand with his company Twelve 37 Filmworks of late, so in good faith and timing for our new release, we’ve asked director Abigail Hosford to tackle our first single from the re-release, “Sleep Walk.” We are excited to work with her and can’t wait for the finish product! Thanks again so very much for those of you who donated and contributed. Your Perk Bundles are on the way!

Love and thanks to you all! – HOTM
